Sheila Rajaratnam, MD, has been an integral part of Legacy of Healing for years.
Dr. Rajaratnam received her bachelor’s degree and her medical degree from the University of Ghana’s Medical School in Accra, Ghana.
Sheila completed her residency training at Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra, Ghana, Crawley Hospital in Crawley, England and Walsgrave Hospital and the Coventry Group of Hospitals in Coventry, England.
She completed her fellowship at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York, New York.
She currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology at Wright State University’s Boonshoft School of Medicine in Dayton, Ohio.
When she’s not working, Sheila enjoys traveling and reading.
Sheila is excited to continue trying activities outside of her comfort (parasailing, etc.) with Legacy in the future.
