Mafi Schmidt, RN serves on the board of Legacy of Healing and also functions as the organization’s Chief Operating Officer.
Mafi was raised in the mission field and attended elementary school in Peru, went to middle school in Puerto Rico and graduated high school from Forest Lake Academy (Orlando, FL) in 1950.
She graduated with her nursing degree from Glendale Adventist Hospital School of Nursing in 1955.
For the past two decades, Mafi has devoted herself to organizing and running Legacy of Healing. In her spare time, Mafi is involved with her church’s music department, playing the organ and piano – a talent that she has been cultivating since age 7.
